Katzuma and Synchretic Tape: funk magnetism

A mixtape of funk edits, dub and minimal grooves from Chico MD

strettoblaster 09/12/2015

Katzuma brings us into a stereoscopic journey: time and mutations are led by the rhythm and the dualism of reinterpretation.

The return of the ubiquitous and discreet Katzuma takes place through a new project coming out for the label (((QS))) , which gives the net a syncretic mix with a particular flavour.

The term syncretism, of ancient Greek origin, in philosophy substantially indicates the harmonic “fusion” of eclectic and conciliatory tendencies between different schools of thought. Here you will have to think about funk, electronics, jazz and tribal minimal groove. All scattered in a little healthy “ original unreleased edits and dub tracks crafted with soul and skills of knowledge.

All this anticipates the new release of Mr. Katzuma’s new project with his band OKE ‘. Listen here and enjoy, the move is in free download . And it’s really good.
